In the past few weeks there has been a ton on information regarding Sony's next generation PlayStation, now officially called the PlayStation 5. We now know it's name, release date, details on the disc drive and controller and first real world impressions of actual software running on it. It's all shaping up to be extremely compelling and we are practically assured a much greater leap forward than what we saw in moving from PS3 to PS4. We are at the stage when numerous leaks from industry "insiders" start to paint the picture of what the next generation of games will be about. We've seen many leaks over the past few months, particularly on the next PlayStation (i.e. PS5) but also on the next Xbox console (codename: Anaconda). But last week something very interesting happened: on a seemingly random Tuesday morning in April, we awoke to new trending article on wire with the headline " Exclusive: What to Expect From Sony's Next-Gen PlayStation ".
